Each Summer, Behavioral Healthcare magazine features a comprehensive compilation of architectural and interior design projects representing outstanding innovative design solutions in new or renovated health and human services facilities.

We are pleased to announce our 8th Annual Design Showcase.

Reservations due: Thursday, March 3rd
Presentations due: Tuesday, March 29th

Construction categories include: New construction; Remodel-renovation, New construction/renovation; Additions; Projects in progress; and Unbuilt/conceptual designs.

Eligible Settings include: Addiction treatment centers; Child/family service facilities; Community health centers; Community mental health centers; Group homes; Homeless shelters; Mental healthcare facilities; MR/DD facilities; Psychiatric hospitals (freestanding or individual units); Research/treatment institutions; Residential treatment settings; Substance use treatment facilities; Transitional housing facilities; Veterans facilities; and other appropriate human service settings

All submitted projects will be published, unless the project is NOT accepted by our panel of experts. The jury consists of healthcare architects, interior designers, consultants, regulators, providers and academic/research professionals.

Awards and Recognition: The Behavioral Healthcare jury may designate some projects with our prestigious AWARD OF MERIT. Other projects may receive HONORABLE MENTION. A special awards ceremony will take place at the National Conference on Addiction Disorders (NCAD) in Denver (August 18-21, 2016) to honor the Award of Merit winners.
