We're excited to be back in St. Louis for the National Conference on Addiction Disorders (NCAD) and Behavioral Healthcare Executive Summit for the second year in a row. Those who have attended in years past will find this year's conference to be our most interactive experience yet. Our broad curriculum reflects our editorial goal for Addiction Professional and Behavioral Healthcare: equipping you as leaders in the industry with tools to achieve both clinical and business excellence within your organizations.

I am personally looking forward to be introducing several sessions in a variety of tracks and hearing our fantastic plenary speakers. You will find in our agenda that there also are opportunities to attend expert panels over the next few days. We encourage you to not only attend these panels but share your experiences on issues pivotal to patient care and business success.

As healthcare continues to evolve and alter what we know about addiction, mental health treatment and recovery service, the more imperative it becomes to join the discussion. At this conference, we ask that you take the time to ask more of our presenters, challenge conventional wisdom and even confront your own beliefs about what works.

To stay up to date on conference presentations and related information, we recommend downloading our NCAD mobile app. To download, simply search for “NCAD2015” in your iPhone or Android app stores. To login, simply use the email address used to register and the password: ncad2015.

In fact, anyone who downloads the mobile app will be entered into a drawing to win a $250 American Express gift card. The selection will be made at random and a winner will be announced on Tuesday. For help with the mobile app, you can visit the Mobile App Help Desk near conference registration at any time.

And if you haven’t done so already, make sure to follow us on Twitter. We highly encourage the sharing of session takeaways, insightful snippets from conversations with colleagues and even photos from of your conference experience. In doing so, please use the hashtags #NCADCon and #BHSummit.

Lastly, in the words of Homerun Henry, “Batter up; don’t strike out” during these fulfilling four-days!
