Telecare (Alameda, Calif.) is partnering with Baylor Medical Center at Garland (Dallas, Texas) to manage a new Behavioral Health Senior Program that will provide short-term (7–14 days) inpatient services for adults experiencing a mental health crisis.

The Senior Program at Baylor Garland, which will serve individuals over age 65 with a primary psychiatric illness,  will provide the short-term inpatient services in tandem with Baylor Garland hospital services to ensure both mental and physical health needs are addressed simultaneously and cohesively.

“We are delighted to join with Baylor in opening this new and prestigious program and to be a valued partner in bringing high quality care and leading edge mental health services to the older adult community,” said Anne Bakar, President and Chief Executive Officer of Telecare Corporation.
