Rosewood Centers for Eating Disorders names director of adolescent treatment

Rosewood Centers for Eating Disorders has hired eating disorder specialist Dena Cabrera, Psy.D, CEDS, to be the new clinical director of its adolescent eating disorder treatment program.
In her new role, Cabrera will lead the day to day activities of the adolescent staff and residents. She will also be speaking on behalf of Rosewood regarding the prevention and treatment of eating disorders at a ational and international level.

"We're excited to have added Cabrera to our talented adolescent treatment team. She's a highly regarded eating disorder specialist and we couldn't be more pleased that she'll be calling Rosewood home," says Rosewood's Executive Vice President, Michelle Klinedinst, MS, CEDS.
Cabrera has a diverse clinical background involving individual, family and group therapy with both medical and psychiatric populations. She has particular professional interests and specialized training in neuropsychological and psychological assessment, as well as the cognitive-behavioral treatment of patients with neuro-developmental disorders, behavioral problems, depression, anxiety and eating disorders.
Cabrera received a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles, and both a M.A. in Clinical Psychology and a Psy.D. Degree in Clinical Psychology from California School of Professional Psychology, Los Angeles.

She is a member of the American Psychological Association, the Arizona Psychological Association, the California Psychological Association and the International Association of Eating Disorders.
