Rogers Memorial Hospital has announced that Lynette Marshall, RN, MSN, has recently joined its management team as Director of Nursing at Rogers’ Oconomowoc location. In this role, Marshall is responsible for successfully planning, coordinating and administering the activities of nursing services at the Oconomowoc campus. In addition, she serves as a liaison to other departments and collaborates on clinical issues within the professional staff and the community. Marshall manages care for patients ranging in age from four to geriatric and functions clinically on the inpatient unit as needed. She also assists with patient care issues as they arise.
Marshall brings more than 25 years of experience in behavioral healthcare and management to her position, including work with adolescents and adults in a variety of settings (inpatient, home care, long-term care and adult depression outpatient clinic). Her clinical specialty is providing nursing care for patients with eating disorders.
“Rogers Memorial Hospital emphasizes state-of-the-art psychiatric care,” Marshall said, “and I want to bring that same emphasis to nursing. I am passionate about developing staff and building professionalism, with a focus on caring attitudes and the importance of self care. I believe we have to take care of ourselves first in order to effectively care for our patients.”
