The National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) has gone mobile. Visitors accessing NIMH online resources and information from a tablet or smartphone will now find a mobile-friendly interface.
According to an update on the NIMH website, the upgrade goes hand-in-hand with a recent survey conducted by the Pew Research Internet Project showing that an increasing amount of American adults (68 percent) connect to the web via smarphones and tablets.
Prominent features of the mobile interface are NIMH’s Health Topics and Science News menus. The upper right-hand corner features a drop-down navigation menu, which includes the standard website’s toolbar options.
