Carrier Clinic, a New Jersey-based behavioral healthcare system, announced today that Donald Parker, MSW, has been chosen to succeed C. Richard Sarle as President and CEO, effective January 2, 2013.

Prior to his appointment at Carrier Clinic, Parker held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Carlisle and Associates, a healthcare consulting firm.  Previously, Parker served the position of Vice President of Physician Practices and Ambulatory Care at St. Joseph’s Healthcare system, and was President of AtlantiCare Health Services from 2003-2011.

“We look forward to the next chapter in the successful journey of Carrier Clinic, under Mr. Parker’s leadership,” says Carrier Clinic’s Board Chair and head of the search committee, Thomas G. Amato.  Parker’s predecessor, C. Richard Sarle, announced his retirement in July.
