Little Rock, Ark. — LWSI, a provider of software and services for behavioral health organizations, has announced that its Essentia electronic health record (EHR) software has achieved 100 percent ONC-ATCB ARRA ambulatory certification.

This testing and certification was conducted under Drummond Group's Electronic Health Records ONC-ATCB program.

"We're pleased to provide our clients the ability to utilize LWSI solutions to meet all Stage 1 criteria for Meaningful Use of an EHR," says Mickey Lavender, CEO/President of Lavender and Wyatt Systems, Inc.

LWSI's Meaningful Use-related solutions include a Complete ARRA-Certified EHR, Consumer Web portal, access to Electronic Laboratory Results, Rx e-prescribing, connection to Health Information Exchanges, and an intuitive solution that captures and shares outcomes data.

Lavender said the certification is "yet another example of LWSI's continued commitment to maintaining our position as the leading provider of behavioral healthcare information technology."

Essentia v6, which met the requirements for The Complete EHR Certification, is an enterprise behavioral health software solution that brings together EMR, business intelligence, human services, and financial functions. Organizations can deploy Essentia software in-house, running on a single IBM server, or as a managed, software-as-a-service solution.
