Lakeview Health Systems (Jacksonville, Fla.) has named Roy M. Serpa president and chief executive officer. Serpa, a Dallas native, relocated to Jacksonville, to help advance the vision and mission of Lakeview to better serve patients and families struggling with substance use and dual diagnosis disorders.

Serpa has been an industry leader in home health and behavioral health for nearly 30 years, with experience leading facility-based and free-standing home health agencies. He previously served as CEO for Aspire Home Care & Hospice and prior to that, CEO and partner for Jordan Health Services.

“I am excited to be a part of the well-respected team at Lakeview Health Systems. Staff are motivated by the new leadership initiative, allowing us to move toward being a ‘Center of Excellence’ and truly becoming an ‘Employer of Choice.’  I anticipate the changes at Lakeview to better serve the recovery needs of patients and families locally, regionally and nationally,” Serpa said.
