Nashville, Tenn. — The Illinois Alcoholism and Drug Dependence Association (IADDA) and Qualifacts Systems Inc., announced today that they have entered into an exclusive partnership to offer Qualifacts’ Software-as-a-Service electronic health records to the IADDA member agencies.

This partnership follows Qualifacts’ announcement of a similar agreement with the State Associations of Addiction Services (SAAS).

“Once we learned of the exclusive partnership that the State Associations of Addiction Services (SAAS) put in place with Qualifacts, our leadership team and Board quickly realized that a similar partnership in Illinois was needed,” says Sara Moscato Howe, CEO of IADDA. “As we all have come to appreciate, Health IT will become increasingly important in this reform era and has the potential to transform our healthcare delivery system.

“It is vital that our membership understands the options available to them in this Health IT movement,” Howe continues. “Qualifacts’ tremendous track record of implementation success coupled with their highly adaptable delivery model led us to endorse their product as a solution for our membership.”
Like the SAAS relationship, IADDA member agencies will receive a special pricing arrangement for Qualifacts CareLogic Enterprise implementations and Meaningful Use consulting services, competitive financing opportunities and multi-agency collaborative possibilities.

“Building from the SAAS partnership, we certainly believe that creating similar models for substance abuse state associations across the country will serve to accelerate the Health IT adoption rate for individual agencies and create a standardized framework for data capture and analysis, a critical element to ultimately improving clinical outcomes,” says Jason Medlin, vice president of sales for Qualifacts.

“Our unique Software as a Service (SaaS) solution will place substance abuse agencies at the forefront of technological innovation and allow for tremendous flexibility during this period of significant change. We look forward to a great long-term partnership.”
