Nashville, Tenn. — Haven Behavioral Healthcare announced today Page Barnes will serve as the company's new executive vice president and chief development officer. Barnes has served as chief financial officer since co-founding the company with CEO Vern Westrich in 2006.

"My goal as the new chief development officer is to grow the number of successful hospitals that are owned and operated by Haven Behavioral Healthcare," said Barnes. "I'm looking forward to planning and directing the company's short and long term growth plans and strategic acquisitions."

Haven, which named Ken Miles as its new CFO just last week, provides quality behavioral healthcare services to patients in need. Haven's areas of expertise include: geriatric psychiatry; adult psychiatry; child and adolescent services; chemical dependency; a highly specialized military program for those in active service as well as a leading, state-of-the-art treatment program for eating disorders.

Barnes has spent more than 15 years in management roles within the healthcare industry. In his new role at Haven, he will be responsible for identifying, evaluating and negotiating acquisition and development opportunities for both freestanding and hospital-within-a-hospital psychiatric facilities.

Barnes will work closely with the Haven executive team as well as the group of investors led by Cressey & Company to continue the company's growth strategy.

Barnes earned a Bachelor of Science in accounting at Auburn University. His background includes major roles within the healthcare industry as well as significant management with diverse financial institutions.
