Foundations Recovery Network, an organization that provides integrated treatment for substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders, has announced that La Paloma, its Memphis-based inpatient treatment center, has achieved Behavioral Health Care Accreditation from the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).

JCAHO is the national evaluation and certifying agency for nearly 20,000 healthcare organizations and programs in the United States, including hospitals, hospice services, nursing homes, laboratories, rehabilitation centers and behavioral health care organizations. The Joint Commission develops all its accreditation requirements in consultation with behavioral health care experts, providers, measurement experts, individuals and their families. Joint Commission accreditation and certification has come to be recognized nationwide as a symbol of quality that reflects an organization’s commitment to meeting predetermined performance standards.

"The Joint Commission validates the commitment to excellence that we all share at La Paloma," says Paige Bottom, CEO of La Paloma. "Organizations that are awarded the Gold Seal of Approval(TM) are dedicated to continuous operational improvement and to providing care at a very high level."

La Paloma offers treatment for addiction and mental health issues, such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, pain issues, eating issues and psychological trauma. This full-service inpatient treatment center also provides medically managed detox services, intervention services and an active alumni program.
