Seaside Healthcare acquires two Georgia facilities

Seaside Healthcare has acquired Access MHA of Georgia and its locations in Savannah and Atlanta, Ga.—Seaside’s first entry into the state.

Access MHA is a community-based mental health and substance use disorder treatment provider for children, adolescents and adults. As part of the Seaside Healthcare portfolio, Access will continue to deliver services statewide under the name Access MHA, a member of Seaside Healthcare.

The acquisition was completed August 15, 2017.

According to the announcement, Seaside Healthcare is currently expanding its mental healthcare delivery system across the South through acquisitions and new site development. The organization was founded in 2009 and operates inpatient, outpatient and group homes in Louisiana, North Carolina and Georgia. It’s backed by private equity investor Pharos Capital Group.
