Integrity House, a not-for-profit substance use disorder treatment provider based in Newark, N.J., announced it has partnered with CarePlus New Jersey and Rutgers New Jersey Medical School to oversee operations of Bergen Regional Medical Center, the state’s largest hospital.

Integrity House will operate all addiction treatment services at Bergen, including 84 detox beds, 40 short-term residential beds and outpatient addiction services. Overall, the three organizations plan to expand the range of clinical services, expand ambulatory services, increase the availability of inpatient specialists, integrate medical and behavioral care, connect patients with community aftercare services, and enhance addiction treatment at the 1,070-bed facility.

The transition and development of services to be provided is slated to be completed by Oct. 1.
