RCA opens Boston center

Recovery Centers of America (RCA) has opened its Boston Center for Addiction Treatment campus after a $20 million renovation of the property. Located in the 140,000-square-foot former Hunt Hospital, the residential facility will employ up to 300 professionals.

Accredited by the Joint Commission, RCA treatment programs address substance use disorders and co-occurring disorders. Psychiatric specialties including anxiety, trauma, depression and bi-polar disorder. The integrated care model also incorporates primary care and other medical services. Features include fitness and holistic therapy programs, farm-to-table style dining, black car service, and CrossFit and yoga classes open to the community.

Additional assistance to connect patients to treatment is offered through Wicked Sober’s on-site drop-in center.
