DocuTrac has added a new behavioral healthcare billing service called Office Therapy Billing Services. According to Arnie Schuster, PhD, President of DocuTrac, the idea of implementing a billing service seemed a natural evolution for DocuTrac, considering that their Office Therapy software is a widely used and proven billing system.

With this new service, DocuTrac will be able to offer billing services tailored to meet individual and group practice needs for billing and insurance claim filing. The new service benefits clinicians with limited support staff who wish to devote their time to caring for their patients. Office Therapy Billing Services handles claims submission, A/R tracking, HIPAA compliance, and the ever-changing requirements of Managed Care.

Never in the history of healthcare have there been so many continuous changes and regulations regarding billing and coding compliance. Handling these changes is part of what DocuTrac's billing service can do for providers.

The fees for this new billing service are affordable and highly competitive, thereby opening up the market to those clinicians who prefer the time saving advantage of using a billing service.

In an effort to fulfill the high standards of quality and competence for which DocuTrac is known, Schuster recruited an experienced biller Heather Painter, Medical Billing Specialist, who was previously employed at Frederick Memorial Hospital in Maryland.

Schuster said he is confident that Painter's "experience and knowledge will facilitate prompt, competent, and professional service in managing the billing service division."
