Discovery House network up for auction

Providence, R.I.-based Discovery House, an outpatient treatment center network with 18 facilities across Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, Maine and Utah, is currently up for auction, according to The Street. The company has EBITDA of around $12 million and could command a multiple of between eight and 10 times in the final sale, according to the announcement. 

The auction is managed by Greene Holcomb & Fisher LLC, and bids are due next week.

Discovery House offers detox services and medication-assisted treatment, including long-term methadone maintenance. Additional services include education and job placement.
