Nashville, Tenn. — Qualifacts Systems, Inc., has announced that DCCCA in Lawrence, Kan., has selected the company’s web-based CareLogic Enterprise EHR and billing system. DCCCA, a provider of behavioral health and human services, is Qualifacts’ first customer in Kansas.

Like many providers, DCCCA discovered that they were drowning in manual paper processes, and the resulting inefficiencies, particularly with their addiction and behavioral health services, were hampering their ability to effectively serve the community. After a two-year search, they selected Qualifacts.

“After reviewing EHR products from several national vendors, our review team chose Qualifacts based on the features, flexibility and pricing of their product,” says George Heckman, assistant director for DCCCA.

DCCCA is looking forward to the coming integration of their processes – from scheduling to documentation to billing – and the return on their investment, resulting from gained efficiencies.

Heckman continues, “It’s critical for our organization to implement an electronic health record to improve our ability to integrate service delivery, billing and monitoring while enhancing service quality.”

“Kansas is now the twentieth state that Qualifacts customers operate in and we are ready, with DCCCA’s guidance, to help them capture state-required data in CareLogic and develop EDI claims submission for their two major Kansas payors,” says Jason Medlin, vice president of sales for Qualifacts. “What is most exciting is that these changes will be made once to our SaaS platform and can then be leveraged ‘out of the box’ by any other Kansas agency.”
