Brentwood, Tenn.-based Summit BHC opened its Twin Lakes Recovery Center in Monroe, Ga., today, a 55-bed residential treatment facility and its first location in Georgia. The organization also announced the opening of an outpatient program located in the state.
“Summit BHC continues to execute on our strategy of becoming a premier, nationally based provider of substance abuse services,” Karen M. Prince, president and chief marketing officer, tells Behavioral Healthcare. “We are very excited about the opening of Twin Lakes and look forward to adding additional facilities and programs to the company in 2016.”
Twin Lakes brings the number of facilities in the Summit BHC portfolio to eight, closely following the acquisition of Turning Point, a 106-bed addiction treatment center in Franklin, Pa., in March. The Georgia programs will offer detox, residential and outpatient treatment with a family component. Reese Daniel, CACII, will serve as Twin Lakes Recovery Center’s CEO.
