A new partnership with Seven Counties Services in Kentucky adds 31 locations to the Centerstone portfolio. According to David C. Guth, Jr., CEO of Centerstone, it’s the organization’s largest affiliation to date.

“Geographically, our Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana and Tennessee operations sit close by one another, offering additional opportunities to reach and serve more people,” Guth tells Behavioral Healthcare.

He also says the two organizations share a similar approach, vision and values, and Seven Counties’ experience in inpatient services will expand areas of expertise for not-for-profit Centerstone.

“This affiliation gives us greater national visibility to become the trusted name in behavioral healthcare,” he says. “That stronger voice will allow us to work with health plans to create stronger systems of care, creating value for our clients, funders and communities.”

Seven Counties will be branded as Centerstone of Kentucky, effective November 1, 2016, and the executive and senior management teams will remain unchanged. Combined, the five-state behavioral health organization now has 211 locations with approximately $310 million in annual revenues.
