Informed addiction and mental health treatment organizations have learned that “one-size-fits-all” treatment does not serve patients well. A growing number of facilities have established specialized services that meet the specific treatment and recovery needs of people with eating disorders. The centers profiled in this special advertising section have devoted significant attention and resources to capturing what works in treating eating disorders.

Each treatment center profile lists the types of services offered and populations treated, along with contact information for each facility. These centers serve as important sources for referral and harbor some of the best approaches to treating eating disorders.

For information about upcoming treatment center profile advertising opportunities, including treatment centers with a spiritual/religious approach in the December issue, contact Donna Paglia at

Castlewood Treatment Center

At Castlewood Treatment Center, our philosophy is to offer more in a healing environment. We strive to stay on the cutting edge, and to provide quality of care beyond “the required” to provide our clients maximum opportunity for recovery. Our residential level of care is designed for stabilization and restoration of healthy eating habits. Our Step Down program focuses on autonomy to facilitate long-term recovery. Our Day Treatment program is for clients living independently who can commute to treatment when an overnight stay is not necessary. Our IOP program is for clients needing more structure than weekly therapy sessions.
