Interoperability and the Status of the Data Segmentation for Privacy (DS4P) Pilot

In response to the ONC’s Data Segmentation for Privacy Initiative, which aims to allow providers to electronically send and receive health information protected by jurisdictional, organizational, or patient-directed policies securely, Cerner Anasazi is developing its own Data Segmentation for Privacy (DS4P) Pilot, the Anasazi Exchange.

The Anasazi Exchange administrates communication to and from provider EHRs, including primary care, in full compliance with 42 CFR Part 2 federal regulations for substance abuse. Registrants for this webinar will learn:

Mike Morris

Cerner Anasazi

Mike Morris started his career in the IT world of the healthcare industry in the late 70s and his roots run deep in the non-profit behavioral health field. After working in this sector for a decade and consulting to the medical industry infusing information technology, he began his own company to build a system for a community mental health center in Texas. That initial custom built system launched Anasazi Software to become one of the largest behavioral health software vendors in the market.

Cerner's recent acquisition of Anasazi Software creates the most comprehensive behavioral health solution, while improving the coordination of care across the health care continuum. Mike continues to drive innovations in the behavioral health technology field with Cerner Anasazi.

 

Dan Levene

Dan Levene has been working in behavioral heathcare software for over a decade, with previous experience in software development including Visual Basic and DataFlex. Dan also has extensive experience in network configuration and management, as well as database development. In Dan’s current role as a Director, he is responsible for all software deployment, database configurations and troubleshooting, network consulting and is also responsible for all technology research and development. Dan has a Bachelor of Science degree from St. John’s University in Minnesota.

Cerner Anasazi

Melinda Wagner's experience includes 12 years as the Chief Operating Officer for a privately held physician organization and healthcare management company. Prior to that, Wagner was responsible in the same group as the Sr. Director of Clinical Operations including managing an employee assistance program. Melinda joined Cerner in July 2012 initially as a Healthcare Executive. With the acquisition of Anasazi, she is transitioning to lead the Millennium Behavioral Health division as well as sales and client relations for Cerner Anasazi.

Wagner attended the University of Missouri, Kansas City, where she earned a master’s degree in business administration. She also attended University of Kansas, where she earned a master’s degree in the science of education with emphasis in exercise physiology and community health. Wagner earned her Bachelors of Science of Nursing from Research and Rockhurst College of Nursing and maintains a current nursing license in Missouri and Kansas.
