Prior to entering the behavioral health industry, Bill operated one of Florida’s most successful medical equipment and home infusion pharmacy businesses which he sold to a national drug chain in 2002.

In the community, Mr. McCormick served as president of the Fort Lauderdale Branch NAACP where he championed the causes of justice, equality and job creation for local citizens. He was widely known as the civic leader who petitioned Governor Jeb Bush and received approval for the “first time in Florida’s history”, the extension of time for polls during the 2002 presidential election. William has been recognized by numerous organizations for his outstanding service and contributions throughout the United States and has recently been placed on the Florida Memorial University Board of Trustees.

Currently, William McCormick  serves as chief operating officer for Medivance Billing Service, where since his appointment, client net collections has exceeded over $160 million dollars.
