For the 6th year, Behavioral Healthcare is proud to announce the annual Behavioral Healthcare Health and Human Services Showcase (Design Showcase). The Showcase, which will be featured in the May/June 2014 issue of the print publication, will be a comprehensive compilation of state-of-the-art architectural and interior design projects from firms that have achieved outstanding and innovative design solutions in new or renovated health and human service facilities.

Environments featured in the showcase should:

  • Be functional
  • Have aesthetic appeal
  • Promote efficiency
  • Facilitate the use of technology
  • Enhance emotional well-being and physical comfort
  • Improve outcomes and safety
  • Enhance staff functioning

Eligible settings include addiction treatment centers, residential treatment centers, community mental health centers, veterans facilities, and transitional housing facilities (please see the Call for Submissions for more eligible settings).

All projects must have been completed between January 2010 and December 2014, but some projects will be accepted in the categories of “Project in Progress” and “Unbuilt/Conceptual Design.”

The submission reservations are due February 26 and the presentations are due March 19. Contact Erin Tyler Beirne for additional questions or information at (216) 373-1217 or etyler@vendomegrp.com
