Project Transition appoints new chief executive officer

Project Transition, an organization focused on providing help to adults with psychiatric problems through apartment-based therapeutic communities, has recently made some changes to its administrative and programmatic components.

To that end, Project Transition has announced that Luke Crabtree, JD, MBA has been appointed the chief executive officer of Project Transition.   

Crabtree has described his vision for Project Transition by the following four key principles:

1)    Ensure that the development of new products/services are maximally

responsive to customer needs.

2)    Maintain and continue to enhance high quality services throughout the

company.

3)    Ensure that Project Transition is helpful and relevant to a greater number of

payors and communities.

4)    Develop a culture of excellence that empowers leaders, promotes and rewards

expertise, and effectively joins together all employees into one process.

To help support Crabtree and the Project Transition vision, Paul Keisling, MSW, will now focus his efforts in the areas of Recovery and Rehabilitation. Loren Crabtree, MD, one of the founders of Project Transition, will remain as Chairman of the PT Board, Psychiatrist in Chief and will also be involved in numerous consulting projects that will best utilize his experience and expertise with the seriously mentally ill.
