National Council seeks nominees for its Board of Directors

Nominations open February 18 through March 18, 2014

The National Council for Behavioral Health (National Council) invites nominations from behavioral health organizations for seven open seats on its Board of Directors. Nominees must be from the leadership or boards of National Council member organizations. Nominees are sought for open seats in each of the following regions: 

•              Region 1: CT, MA, ME, NH, RI, VT


•              Region 2: NJ, NY, PR, VI


•              Region 3: DC, DE, MD, PA, VA, WV


•              Region 5: IL, IN, MI, MN, OH, WI 


•              Region 6: AR, LA, NM, OK, TX


•              Region 8: AZ, CO, MT, ND, SD, UT, WY


•              Region 9: CA-Guam-HI-NV


The Board of Directors is composed in part of twenty directors, two from each of ten regions. Directors are expected to represent their entire region on the National Council board as well as to represent and be active in issues affecting behavioral health on a national level.
