Haven BH names Miles new CFO

Nashville, Tenn. — Haven Behavioral Healthcare, a provider of quality behavioral healthcare services to patients in need, has announced that seasoned financial executive Ken Miles has joined the comapny as chief financial officer (CFO).
Miles, who has spent more than 19 years in senior finance positions in the healthcare services industry, said he is looking forward to Haven's continued growth, as well as working with "the best team of behavioral healthcare professionals in the country." "Our goal is to provide quality behavioral healthcare that exceeds what is currently found in the marketplace," he said. "I'm honored to be a part of a company whose core values of integrity, respect and excellence guide every aspect of our patient care." As the CFO at Haven, Miles will work closely with Haven's CEO Vern Westrich and the leadership team to develop strategic operational and financial initiatives for the company.

"I'm also thrilled to be working with an outstanding group of investors led by Cressey & Co. who will continue to partner with the Haven management team as the company executes its planned growth strategy," Miles added.

Miles, a certified public accountant, earned a Bachelor of Science, Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts (Lowell). He is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) and a board member of Easter Seals/United Cerebral Palsy in North Carolina and Virginia. Haven's areas of expertise include: geriatric psychiatry; adult psychiatry; child and adolescent services; chemical dependency; a highly specialized military program for those in active service as well as a leading, state-of-the-art treatment program for eating disorders.
