Futures of Palm Beach, (Futures) a residential treatment facility in Tequesta, Fla., treating clients with a primary diagnosis of substance abuse, has announced the addition of Valerie Jackson as their new Chief Executive Officer. Jackson will oversee all aspects of management of the 75-bed treatment facility, which recently celebrated its first year anniversary.

"Valerie brings an unrivaled level of leadership and management experience to Futures," stated Michael Holloway, President of GMH Ventures, owner of Futures of Palm Beach. "Valerie's previous experience in healthcare management, combined with her impeccable reputation and local industry relationships made her an obvious choice for us in our CEO search. We are tremendously excited to have Valerie lead the team at Futures, and we look forward to the managerial and operational presence she will provide."

With over 25 years of experience in the healthcare management field, Jackson brings with her an extensive background and experience in strategic planning, financial management, operations, public relations and marketing, human resources, medical management, public policy, and regulation.

During her career, Jackson has been the CEO of many hospitals in Florida, where she has gained significant experience in acute medical and psychiatric care.  In addition, she has been a healthcare consultant to many healthcare facilities and physician practices, to assist them in maximizing their operational efficiencies. Jackson currently is a governor appointee and represents the Public on the Florida Board of Osteopathic Medicine.

"Locally, Futures of Palm Beach had already started to make a name for itself in the treatment industry amongst healthcare professionals," stated Jackson. "My vision is to take this world-class facility to the next level with a more national presence, while maintaining the highest level of service and treatment for our residents as we continue to increase our census and staff over the next year and beyond. I am very proud to have the opportunity to bring my previous healthcare management experience to this superior treatment program, and to enhance and expand the abilities of our clinical and medical teams with daily management and foresight."
