Wayne, Pa. — Core Solutions, Inc., a provider electronic health records (EHR) technology for the behavioral healthcare and human services industries, has announced a contract with the state of Delaware's Division of Management Services to replace its formerly used case management system for the Birth to Three Early Intervention System (Birth to Three).

Birth to Three is a statewide, comprehensive interagency system that provides early intervention services for infants and toddlers with disabilities and developmental delays and their families. The office, responsible for administrative and federal compliance activities, resides under the Division of Management Services, Delaware Health and Social Services.

Children and their families receive early intervention supports and services through Child Development Watch (CDW) within the Division of Public Health, Delaware Health and Social Services.

Core Solutions will implement its technology platform so that users will be able to better maintain, track, and update client data in a secure, web-based environment. This includes child demographic and attribute information, service and assessment information, and case management data.

With the installation and implementation of the comprehensive solutions, users will be able to capture important information related to infants and toddlers and their families. The system will ensure that staff members are in compliance with the federal requirements of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act of 2004 (IDEA).

The system will also allow Child Development Watch to achieve greater staff efficiency and assure timeliness of assessments, services, and transition activities for children enrolled in the program.

“We are very excited to deploy our technology in the Birth to Three Early Intervention System,” said Ravi Ganesan, president of Core. “Our comprehensive system will allow the staff to provide improved quality of care to the citizens of Delaware while controlling costs.”
