Press Release

Evansville, IN — Trillium is proud to announce that in November 2009 LifeSpring, Inc., a private not-for-profit mental health and substance abuse treatment organization located in Jeffersonville, Indiana, became a member of Trillium.

LifeSpring, Inc. serves over 8,000 clients each year and provides a complete continuum of behavioral health services including: inpatient, outpatient, psychiatric services, nursing services, chemical dependency treatment, detoxification services, in-jail services, partial hospitalization, home based services, school outreach services, residential services, and services for people with dual diagnoses. Services are provided in over 23 locations in a six county service area which includes Clark, Floyd, Harrison, Jefferson, Scott, and Washington Counties.

In 2001 Trillium was incorporated through a partnership of three community mental health centers: Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare, Inc., Samaritan Center, and Southern Hills Counseling Center. Trillium was created to coordinate mental health and substance abuse services across Southwestern Indiana and provide training and continued education opportunities to ensure that Trillium members are always current in best practices.

“The addition of LifeSpring to Trillium presents an exciting opportunity for our group of community mental health centers. Access to quality mental health and addiction services are now available not only in Southwestern Indiana, but across Southern Indiana,” said John K. Browning, Chairman of Trillium, Inc.
